ADOK Savings & Credit Co-operative Society Ltd invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of FOSA Manager.
π Key Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in a business-related field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a financial institution with significant experience at senior, supervisory, or management level
- CPA Certificate will be an added advantage
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SACCO laws, SASRA regulations, and financial principles
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Personal Attributes: Strong leadership, decision-making, strategic planning, and interpersonal skills
- Additional Requirements:
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- CRB Clearance Certificate
- Age Requirement: 30 β 50 years
π Duties and Responsibilities
The FOSA Manager will be responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating Front Office Sacco Business Activities (FOSA)
- Ensuring proper operational procedures including cash limits, security controls, and key registers
- Approving member account transfers, loan disbursements, and system requests
- Authorizing transactions such as account openings, member detail changes, and mobile banking registration
- Supervising daily teller operations and ensuring errors are corrected before close of business
- Acting as treasury custodian and maintaining the treasury book
- Coordinating customer care services to ensure member satisfaction
- Supervising and appraising branch staff performance
- Forecasting and requisitioning daily cash requirements
- Confirming teller end-of-day balances and M-Pesa physical cash
- Maintaining custody of cheque signatories on behalf of the CEO
- Ensuring implementation of policies, procedures, and operational manuals
- Supporting procurement and investment processes
- Ensuring transparency, accountability, and proper use of SACCO resources
- Maintaining member records and office procedures
- Supporting public relations and customer satisfaction initiatives
- Advising the Board of Directors on strategic and operational matters
